In 1976, I had a very special encounter in my studio. A man stood at my door, fascinated by the unique technique I used to make my belt buckles. It was H.R. Giger.
Together we created the legendary belt buckle and forged a deep artistic friendship. Over the years, Hansruedi encouraged me to create the Baphomet, which meant so much to us, as a piece of jewelry. He dreamed of this powerful symbol existing as a wearable work of art.
In 1994, as a tribute to our time together and Giger's unforgettable vision, I fulfilled this wish. I created a miniature version of the belt buckle—a small, detailed work of art that embodies the original power of the design.
Every Baphomet pendant you find in my shop is a piece of this history. It's not just jewelry, but a handcrafted original, crafted with the same passion and precision that fascinated H.R. Giger in my studio.
