A masterpiece for connoisseurs: This unique Giger Bat pendant is a miniature version of an original belt buckle from 1976, inspired by J.R.R. Tolkien's Lord of the Rings. Designed in collaboration with the Swiss art icon H.R. Giger, creator of the Alien films. The birth of a legend: In 1976, I had a very special encounter in my studio. H.R. Giger stood at my door, fascinated by the unique technique I used to create my belt buckles. Together, we created the legendary belt buckle – the beginning of a deep artistic friendship. Over the years, Hansruedi encouraged me to create the Giger Bat, which meant so much to us, as a piece of jewelry. His dream was to establish this powerful symbol as a wearable work of art. In 2014, as a tribute to our time together and Giger's unforgettable vision, I fulfilled this wish. I created the miniature version of the belt buckle – a small, intricately detailed work of art that embodies the original power of the design. Every Giger-Bat pendant from my shop is therefore a piece of this story. It's not just a piece of jewelry, but a handcrafted original, made with the same passion and precision that once captivated H.R. Giger in my studio.
